The Food Bank of the Southern Tier distributes food to people in need through more than 160 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other hunger relief organizations six counties. They admister several direct service food distribution programs including the food “BackPack Program” and Mobile Food Pantry.
Friendship Donations Network rescues fresh food that would otherwise be thrown away from stores and farms and redistributes it to neighbors in need.

Loaves & Fishes of Tompkins County is a Christian ministry providing a place for free meals, hospitality, companionship, and advocacy for those in need, regardless of their faith, beliefs, or circumstances. Loaves & Fishes is located in St. John’s Episcopal Church.
The Southside Community Center Food Pantry partners with Food Bank of the Southern Tier, Wegmans, Tops, Greenstar, and Friendship Donation Network to offer canned goods, beverages, baked goods, sandwiches, salad, meat, milk, eggs, bread, etc. At each pantry they provide three days worth of food to families in need.
