Cash Assistance programs provide financial help to families and individuals as well as some emergency assistance. Income eligibility standards and benefit levels vary depending on the household situation.
607-274-5345Benefits individual citizens, families and children of the greater Ithaca community who are undergoing hardship or who may have special needs, e.g., emergency mortgage or rent assistance, family crises, special clothing needs, aid in attending summer programs or special events, scholastic needs, etc. Applicants should keep in mind that the Robin Fund has very limited resources. Modest Needs’ mission is to help low-income workers who are struggling to shoulder the burden of a short-term emergency expense. In keeping with our mission, Modest Needs’ applicants must meet income and employment guidelines
Newfield Community Good Neighbor Fund
Collects donations from Newfield residents to give back to the community. Provides help for Newfield Town residents with: utility bills, school tuition (scholarships), and other general financial difficulties. Does not assist with first/last month’s rent.
